| Exit
the train station through the underpass that leads you to the tram and
bus stations. Find the station for bus
nr. 12 going in direction Länggass-Strasse. Get a ticket
at the machine (the current fare is sFr. 1.70), take the bus (which
runs every 8 min) and exit at third stop Mittelstrasse. Follow Bühlstrasse in southern direction for approx. 400 metres, turn
right into Baltzerstrasse (which is a downhill access street located between the Institutes of Anatomy and Legal Medicine). Our Institute is in nr. 4 (second entry) of the modern building on the right which is called Zellbiologisches Zentrum. You will find further directions on the information board in the entrance hall or obtain them from the secretaries on the first floor. |

This
doesn't take longer than if you took the bus. Take the elevator at the
end of the underpass near track 13 and ride to the fourth floor "Grosse
Schanze". Enjoy the spectacular sight over the city and the Alps!
Turn around, and pass between two historic buildings (the railroad administration
on the left and the main University building on the right). Cross a street and take a left
behind the little park of Falkenplatz. Approx. 100 metres later,
you will see restaurant Beaulieu on the left; from there follow Erlachstrasse departing slightly to the left from the main street (Länggasse-Strasse). After approx. 300 metres, at the roundabout, turn left Bühlstrasse. After another 150 metres you will find the entry to Baltzerstrasse on your right. Get to nr. 4 of the Zellbiologisches Zentrum as described for the bus riders. |
